Braintree Partners. A non-profit business incubator which assists business startups and emerging companies in North Central Ohio. Experienced "Braintree Partners" offer counseling, customer referral, access to capital, and training opportunities. It also houses the north central Ohio region small business development center, offering numerous grant-supported consulting services to entrepreneurs. A specialty area is manufacturing and technology.

SCORE.  North Central Ohio SCORE provides free and confidential business counseling tailored to meet the needs of your small business and your personal objectives. North Central Ohio SCORE also offers workshops, free or for a modest fee, for both start-up entrepreneurs and in-business small business owners. 
 
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation. This site includes a variety of free resources including online training and links to local programs including business centers serving women, veterans, etc.
Microsoft Bizspark. This program is designed to help young companies receive funding at a time when credit is hard to come by. In addition to funding, BizSpark members get direct access to software, developer tools, technical assistance and server products at no upfront cost. Microsoft helps promote network starups with scalable marketing solutions and visibility.
FastTrac is a practical, hands-on, entrepreneur-learning program designed to help entrepreneurs hone the skills needed to create, manage, and grow a successful business. FastTrac participants don't just learn about business, they live it. They work on their own business ideas or existing ventures throughout the program-moving their ventures to reality. FastTrac programs are delivered by a variety of over 300 alliance organizations—non-profit and for-profit alike—including chambers of commerce, business development centers, local and regional economic development councils, colleges, universities, consulting firms, and many others..
